Yawn ... The novelty is wearing off walls - worn off as far as Phil's concerned. That said, they're pretty much finished, apart from a couple of front sheets on the studio, and a few more screws here and there. We're now awaiting the return of the elusive roofer (a foot was stamped firmly down at the thought of Phil hanging by his ankles with a drill) to finish the soffits.


View of the east wall: A round window is yet to be cut on the second level, above the front door. I can't wait to fall asleep watching the stars.


Roadside view of as much as possible: When people insist on planting so many trees around the house it's hard getting a decent photo. Stand up whoever's responsible. Still, this should give some idea of the wing-like effect of the roof(s).
And speaking of responsibility - who's in charge of weeding?


View of the rainforest from the bath (that squarish hole in the floor): Yes, it is a small bath. It's Japanese - small yet deep, so all the better for soaking in. But will a tall western man fit? Good question - we'd best pop down to the showroom and put him in (fully clothed of course).
